He completed his medical education from National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Ukraine, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical medicine, including structured history taking, comprehensive physical examination, and evidence-based diagnostic reasoning. He graduated with average final score of 4.24, reflecting consistent academic and clinical performance.

Following his return to India, Dr. Obaid successfully cleared the Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) Examination in his first attempt, with focused preparation of approximately 4 months.

He subsequently completed his compulsory rotating internship at Government Medical College and Hospital, Purnea, a high-volume tertiary care center with significant outpatient and inpatient exposure. During his internship, he managed a wide spectrum of clinical conditions and gained hands-on experience across multiple specialties, often in settings with heavy patient load, fostering strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
